CRUISE SHIP - IT OFFICER

CSM Rijeka is looking for self-motivated and skilled seafarers to join Cruise fleet of Columbia Shipmanagement.   JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATION   Responsible for the overall condition of all IT Systems on board that include all server & PC systems with their operating systems. Responsible for the broadband internet connection system, the e-mail communication systems and office applications as well as specialized applications as required and assigned by Owners IT Department. Responsible for the maintenance of hardware, as wells as for all software related issues (configuration, updating and administration). Responsible for the administration of the access permission of users including passwords when related to ship’s crew. Hold the overall responsibility of the security of IT Systems (virus protection, protection against unauthorized system access, protection of security sensitive information). Responsible for the for maintaining the inventory of consumables related to his area of responsibility with the support of hotel department which should be also reported daily to the Hotel Inventory Controller for input in MXP (Requisition).  Participate  in emergency drills and responding to actual emergencies as per the Muster List.   VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Substantial experience on large cruise ships with worldwide itinerary.   CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS   Contract Duration [3 months +/- 1 ] Contract Benefit: Competitive salary  Terms and condition as per CBA applicable Bonus Scheme Free Internet onboard and wellbeing support   You may include with your application any reference, specific job qualification, and your availability date.
