Customer Sales Associate Birmingham, AL Full-Time | In-Person Face-to-Face Customer Sales Role The Embark Agency is hiring a Customer Sales Associate to support customer acquisition campaigns in Birmingham through face-to-face sales interactions inside retail locations and promotional event spaces. The role focuses on helping customers learn about telecommunications services and guiding them through service options through professional in-person conversations. Our team delivers sales & marketing campaigns designed to connect brands directly with customers through live engagement and product demonstrations. What You’ll Be Doing As a Customer Sales Associate, your primary responsibility will be to engage customers face-to-face at retail locations and live promotional events, and to guide them through available products and offers while completing sales. Daily responsibilities include: Greeting and engaging shoppers at retail locations and promotional event setups to introduce featured products or brand promotions Starting natural conversations with customers to understand their interests and identify potential sales opportunities Demonstrating product features or explaining service offers in a clear, engaging, and informative way Answering customer questions about pricing, promotions, product details, or purchase options Guiding interested customers through the purchasing or sign-up process using digital tablets or mobile systems Recording sales activity and customer interactions to track personal performance and sales progress Maintaining a professional brand presence at event setups, promotional displays, or retail activation spaces Participating in daily team briefings focused on product knowledge, communication skills, and sales coaching This position is fully customer-facing and face-to-face, requiring strong communication skills, confidence interacting with new people, and the ability to represent brands professionally in busy retail and event environments. Training & Development The position includes structured training focused on: Face-to-face customer communication Sales conversation techniques Product knowledge and service presentation Performance tracking and goal setting Coaching and mentorship are provided to support continuous skill development. What We’re Looking For This role is suited to candidates who: Are comfortable speaking with customers in face-to-face environments Have strong communication and interpersonal skills Enjoy working toward measurable sales goals Have experience in customer-facing roles such as retail, hospitality, or customer service Are interested in developing professional sales skills Previous sales experience is helpful but not required.
