Job Summary:
Join FedEx Logistics as a Customs Trade Coordinator, working from the comfort of your own home in Memphis, TN. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth entry of goods into the US by coordinating documentation required by US Customs and Government Agencies. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to importers, internal staff, and external partners
- Obtain accurate classification of goods for customs release using various resources, including databases, SOPs, tariff books, and the internet
- Process and submit import-related documentation to US Customs and other Government Agencies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
- Ensure adherence to international importing and exporting regulations
- Collaborate with internal staff, departments, and external partners to deliver high-quality service
- Process agency brokerage shipments and remote filings
- Ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 6 months of work experience (no industry experience required)
- Data entry and keyboard experience required
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle high-volume work

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm (some overtime may be required)
