Legacy Food Group is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and help drive data-driven decision making across the company. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data architecture that supports our business insights and analytics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and reliable data flow within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration of large datasets
• Collaborate with stakeholders and decicion makers to optimize data delivery and support advanced analytics needs
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems
• Implement and manage data storage solutions including data warehouses and data lakes
• Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to resolve any issues promptly
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing data systems

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, preferably in the food production or distribution industry
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools and technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly preferred
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions such as Redshift, Snowflake, or similar
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate technical concepts effectively
