Foot Locker is a leading global athletic footwear and apparel retailer, and they are seeking a Data Integrity Specialist to support their merchant community. This role is critical in ensuring accurate creation, attribution, and delivery of merchandise, maintaining data accuracy and operational efficiency throughout the merchandising process.
Responsibilities
- The Data Integrity Specialists work with merchants on core global attribution for style creation
- Build item creation files based on core global attribution and other product attribution required to ensure all colors, style, divisional SKUs and UPC’s are created correctly
- Ensure all global style, color, divisional SKUs and UPC’s are created in a timely manner prior to agreed upon deadline times for purchase order writing
- Creation for all styles will occur either manually or through a pre-determined bulk upload process
- The Data Integrity Specialists will derive their work from the vendor deadline calendar to ensure that proper balance is maintained so that all work is submitted in a timely manner
- They will also be responsible for maintaining the vendor deadline calendar with accurate deadline dates
- The Data Integrity Specialists will be responsible for maintaining accurate attributions of all styles, colors and divisional SKUs
- This will be done through proper maintenance requests for updating, adding, and editing of potential errors as required
- The Data Integrity Specialists will work with the merchant teams to ensure that proper Family Codes are added in a timely manner to ensure that we are representing youth footwear on a unique product detail page
- This will aid in maximizing customer satisfaction and sales for our customers
- The Data Integrity Specialists are to work on weekly business reports such as the SCuL review and Power BI to determine what actions are necessary to ensure products flow online
- To accomplish this, they will work with the buying teams, marketing team, copywriting team and imaging team to ensure all work is completed
- The Data Integrity Specialists will be responsible for preparing sizing charts for all new vendors and updating existing sizing charts for current vendors as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs workflows and procedures
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software
- The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision
