The Student Conservation Association is seeking a highly motivated and creative Digital Communications Intern to join their team on a remote basis. As a key member of the Youth and Young Adult Programs Division, you will have the opportunity to develop a new strategic vision for promoting national park programs and engaging new audiences. The National Park Service is a federal agency responsible for managing and preserving national parks, monuments, and historic sites across the United States. The Student Conservation Association is a non-profit organization that works closely with the National Park Service to provide opportunities for young people to get involved in conservation and environmental stewardship. As a Digital Communications Intern, you will be working with the Outreach and Digital Communications Specialist to develop innovative content and social media strategies that promote youth and young adult programs across the National Park Service.

What to Expect

This is a full-time remote internship that will run from December 2, 2024, to November 28, 2025, with a commitment of 30 hours per week. You will be working closely with the Outreach and Digital Communications Specialist to develop a new strategic vision for promoting national park programs and engaging new audiences. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in digital communications, social media management, and content creation, and to make a real impact on the National Park Service's mission.

Compensation and Benefits

You will receive a weekly stipend of $525, as well as additional benefits, including:
