We believe that by working together, we can create a more innovative and sustainable retail industry that benefits everyone. **Job Summary** As a Digital Media Intern, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for our social media platforms, updating our website, and conducting research to support our Center's partnerships and events. You will work closely with our team to develop marketing plans, analyze results, and identify opportunities to increase audience engagement. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in digital media, marketing, and retail, and to make a real impact in the industry. **Key Responsibilities** * Create weekly content consistent with brand guidelines across multiple social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube * Update our website with relevant content to engage our audience and promote our Center's events and partnerships * Create invitations for students and partners for KCR-led programming, including events, workshops, and speaker series * Draft the "Semester in Review" newsletter in partnership with the Assistant Director * Conduct research and summarize findings to support Center partnerships, speakers, events, and workshop content * Attend weekly meetings with the KCR team to discuss marketing plans, results, and opportunities to increase audience engagement * Available Wednesdays from 12-2PM to record KCR Rapid Fire with Leadership Symposium speakers **Qualifications** * Currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Madison * Completed undergraduate coursework in Consumer Behavior and Marketplace Studies, Textiles and Fashion Design, or related fields * Certificates or coursework in Digital Studies, Entrepreneurship, Public Relations, and Marketing are a plus * Demonstrated writing and editing experience, with the ability to work with limited supervision on social platforms * Photo, video, and graphic design skills, with familiarity with Canva * Experience with Eloqua is a plus **Skills and Competencies** * Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging content for social media platforms * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with a team to develop marketing plans and analyze results * Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to summarize findings and identify opportunities to increase audience engagement * Familiarity with social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube * Experience with graphic design software, including Canva * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Digital Media Intern at the Kohl's Center for Retailing, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in digital media, marketing, and retail, and to make a real impact in the industry.
