The goal of the Enjoy Life More Community Based Adult Day Program (ELM) is to provide support and guidance to program participants aged eighteen and above, who would like to access and participate in a variety of activities and services available in the community. The focus is to develop social, communication, and functional skills to increase independence, promote self-esteem and empower group participants.Essential Functions:-Implement program curricula-Provide direct supervision and support for each participant-Directly deliver individual and group learning experiences-Provide opportunities for participants to make choices, participate, and learn-Maintain daily logs and data regarding participant progress-Participate in participant assessment, planning and evaluation process-Provide assistance to client in basic self-help skills, daily living skills, and adaptive living skills-Assist with researching community activities, events, and destinations, planning trips to desired locations, arranging transportation, and attending outings with participants.-Act as an appropriate role model for participants.-Be flexible in site assignment, as job duties are to be carried out in different community settings-Act as an advocate to promote and protect the rights of participants; Ensure individuals are treated with dignity and respect; Support participants in advocacy and self-advocacy actions.Requirements:-Have High School Diploma or GED-Ability to pass LiveScan, health screening, and TB test-Current valid driver’s license-Clean DMV record-Willingness to drive company vehicle to transport participants Please contact Emily:[email protected](925)519-27531983 First Street, Livermore, CA 94550Website: enjoyinglifemore.orgInstagram: enjoylifemore_elmFaceBook: Enjoy Life More, Inc.
