Director of Creative Strategy - Remote US based (CPG - E-commerce)

We are seeking a Director of Creative Strategy to own and elevate our brand across every consumer touchpoint. This is not a production design role. This is a senior creative leadership position responsible for defining, refining, and enforcing a cohesive brand system across packaging, web, paid media, lifecycle, and product. The ideal candidate has exceptional taste, deep branding instincts, and experience building and evolving high-growth CPG brands in performance-driven environments. You should have led rebrands, created scalable brand systems, and understand how creative directly impacts perception, conversion, and long-term brand equity. Responsibilities Holistic Brand Ownership • Own and evolve the brand’s visual identity and creative direction • Establish and enforce brand standards across all channels • Build strong product guardrails and ensure cohesive execution • Maintain visual consistency across web, packaging, paid, email, and organic Rebranding & Brand Evolution • Lead full rebrands or major brand refresh initiatives • Translate brand positioning into cohesive visual systems • Elevate packaging design, visual hierarchy, and shelf presence • Continuously refine brand perception as the company scales Creative Execution & Systems • Expert-level proficiency in Figma and modern design systems • Deep experience across website design, packaging, product imagery, and paid creative • Build scalable creative systems, templates, and workflows • Balance strong aesthetics with clarity, usability, and conversion Performance-Aware Creative • Design within performance-driven DTC environments (Meta, paid social, landing pages) • Understand how creative influences CTR, CVR, CPA, and overall efficiency • Iterate based on data while protecting brand integrity Leadership • Lead and develop internal designers and external partners • Maintain high creative standards across the organization • Provide clear direction and elevate overall creative output Requirements • 8+ years in brand design or creative leadership, primarily within CPG • Experience operating inside performance-driven DTC businesses • Proven history of leading rebrands or significant brand evolutions • Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging, web, and paid creative excellence • Currently operating within a high-growth brand environment This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands that creative is both a brand asset and a growth lever — and knows how to build systems that strengthen both.
