To learn more, visit www.mattermost.com Mattermost is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Director of Strategic Finance to lead our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) efforts. This role will partner with the CEO and CFO to drive long-range planning, scenario modeling, and executive decision support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic finance, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Lead strategic financial planning and scenario modeling for the next 5 years. Partner with the CEO and CFO to translate business strategy into financial outcomes. Own board-level financial narratives and investor-ready materials. Collaborate with RevOps on ARR forecasting, GTM investments, and compensation modeling. Drive cross-functional alignment on financial goals and KPIs. Qualifications 6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate strategy, or investment banking with demonstrated strategic impact. Proven experience supporting C-level executives. Strong modeling, communication, and executive presence. Experience in SaaS or high-growth tech environments preferred. This role may require the candidate to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance in the future. As such, applicants must be U.S. citizens and eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance . Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial frameworks and the ability to navigate executive-level decision-making. They will have a strong executive presence, excellent communication skills, and a track record of cross-functional leadership. Experience in SaaS or high-growth tech environments is preferred.
