We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to support our ECE program, providing a nurturing environment that fosters growth, confidence, and school readiness for our young students. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to deliver high-quality instructional support
- Provide individualized and group support to students, promoting academic and personal growth
- Assist in documenting student progress and preparing materials and equipment
- Participate in bus supervision, ensuring student safety during loading and unloading
- Engage with parents and families, encouraging strong involvement and participation in the ECE program
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; 48 college semester hours or passing score on the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment (KPA) exam
- Demonstrated language skills, with ability to read, understand, and effectively use written and verbal communication
- Successful experience working with children, in individual or group settings
- Program-specific certifications and training; completion of required trainings within 90 days of employment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
