Job Summary As an Educational Aid, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced classroom setting, providing critical support to our students and teachers. Your responsibilities will include distributing and collecting testing materials, grading and providing testing results, monitoring students during various phases of the school day, preparing instructional materials, providing tutoring to students in all subject areas, and accompanying students on field trips. Key Responsibilities Distribute and collect testing materials as needed by students Grade and provide testing results using identified scoring techniques Monitor students during various phases of the school day Prepare instructional materials related to classroom lessons Provide tutoring to students in all subject areas Accompany and supervise students on field trips Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must: Be a U.S. citizen Have a minimum of 2 years (60 semester hours) of education above high school Or have at least 1 year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work experience that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of an Educational Aide Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates who: Have experience working with students in a classroom setting Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Are able to work independently and as part of a team Have a strong commitment to education and student success Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders Strong organizational and time management skills The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information A passion for education and a commitment to student success Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits As a federal employee, you will have access to a range of benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
