Job Description: I'm seeking an experienced educational writer or curriculum designer to help create three grade-specific versions (Kindergarten, 6th Grade, and 11th Grade) of a neighborhood or community study unit. This unit is designed to help educators integrate student identity, place-based learning, and culturally responsive pedagogy into academic instruction. Your writing will contribute directly to an appendix for the manuscript, offering ready-to-use guidance and examples across developmental levels. ✅ Scope of Work: Draft 3 developmentally appropriate versions of a community or neighborhood study unit using the Understanding by Design (UbD) framework, which emphasizes planning with the end in mind.
