HGA is a dynamic firm looking for an Electrical BIM Specialist to leverage expertise in Revit for a variety of projects. The role involves collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and integrating design technology into projects across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of the Project Engineer in the modeling of project solutions and construction documents with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and constructability
- Produce drawings for electrical designs using Revit
- Provide information to Project Engineer for incorporation into design documents
- Assure that drawings and designs are in accordance with design standards
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
- Keep the Project Manager informed of workload and status of deliverables
- Work to refine and upgrade Revit standards and best practices
Skills
- Associates degree (minimum) in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Technology, with a focus on Revit and BIM Modeling
- Proficiency with Revit software, as well as excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 or other Building Codes
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- 0 - 4 years of experience preferred in modeling of lighting, power and communications systems for healthcare, commercial, science & technology and/or educational project types
