- Position: Substitute Teacher, with opportunities for long-term assignments
- Compensation: Competitive salary, with up to $190 per day for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term assignments
We're seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our team as Substitute Teachers in Dumont, NJ. As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while gaining hands-on teaching experience on your own schedule.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
- Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
- NJ Substitute Credential, with background check and TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost)
- Full COVID-19 vaccination
- A passion for education, with an empathetic nature, growth mindset, and drive to be the best you can be
