Primary Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple databases, entering grant data accurately, and maintaining appropriate records and procedures for attendance and assessment data. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing multiple databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and data organization
- Entering required grant data accurately into NRS to meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines
- Maintaining appropriate records and following required procedures and practices for attendance and assessment data
- Maintaining required security of student data in compliance with FERPA
- Completing regular error checks and data clean-up in NRS to ensure accurate reporting
- Ensuring data is accessible in a timely manner to staff and other stakeholders
- Organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet all local, state, and program deadlines
- Monitoring and evaluating student outcomes, including pre/post testing with state-mandated assessments
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Scanning documents and labeling items, inventorying supplies, and performing basic word processing tasks
- Organizing digital files and materials, preparing mailings, and assisting with filing
- Performing other assignments as required
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office Software, including Excel
- Ability to perform office work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and under pressure with frequent interruptions
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:
- Previous experience in data entry or a related field
- Knowledge of database management systems
- Experience with NRS or similar software
- Basic knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or SQL
- Certification in data entry or a related field
