ERP FDM Financials Consultant

The Planet Group is hiring an ERP (Workday, Oracle/PeopleSoft, or SAP) Consolidation / Multi-Currency Lead. This is a contract role, remote, with minimal travel to FL (expenses to be reimbursed), 6-month contract, 40 hrs/week. Overview: We are seeking an experienced Consolidation / Multi-Currency Lead to support a global Workday Financials implementation. This role will focus on leading the design and implementation of Workday's consolidation functionality across multiple regions with complex financial environments. As of right now, the end client has a different system for each region, and they want to consolidate it into Workday. This is a critical role for Phase 1 (Global Design) of the program, with the opportunity to extend through subsequent phases. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the global design effort for financial consolidations in Workday across multiple countries and currencies. • Working with multiple regions/currencies such as Europe, Japan, and LATAM. • Design and implement a centralized Workday consolidation solution, bringing together disparate systems into a unified platform. • Address and manage complexities in consolidations, including intercompany eliminations, currency conversions, and statutory reporting. • Provide strategic and tactical input on consolidation best practices within a Workday environment. Required FDM / Financial Accounting Lead Qualifications: • Open to candidates without Workday experience, will consider resources with Workday, Oracle/PeopleSoft, or SAP related experience. • Must have experience with multi-currency consolidations (any ERP system) • Strong background in Record-to-Report (R2R) from an accounting perspective • Experience with: • Journal entries • General accounting principles • Statutory accounting (preferably within the insurance industry) • Demonstrated ability to manage global financial complexities across diverse regions and regulatory environments. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate financial requirements into system design. • Willingness to travel to Tampa, FL every other week (Tuesday Thursday) • CPA preferred The Planet Group Company Description At The Planet Group, we connect Enterprise Systems experts with opportunities that match their skills, goals, and ambition.
