Essay Editor for High School Students

About the position Responsibilities • Edit and polish essays, theses, and other academic papers to ensure clarity, coherence, and proper grammar and punctuation. • Provide constructive feedback to high school students, helping them improve their writing skills and develop their ideas effectively. • Mentor students in the writing process, guiding them through brainstorming, outlining, drafting, and revising their essays. • Proofread and edit college application essays, master's and PhD theses, and other Statement of Purposes. • Collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of editing and ensure timely delivery of edited essays. • Familiarize yourself with different subject areas and demonstrate a curiosity for learning across various fields of study. • Utilize Microsoft Word and other software tools, such as WeChat (Mobile and Desktop), proficiently. Requirements • Excellent English proficiency. • Bachelor's degree from a Top English-language University in the US. • Master's and PhD candidates are preferred. • Previous experience as an academic essay editor. • Availability to work at least 10-15 hours per week. • Strong research skills and an interest in different subject areas. • Flexibility, reliability, and accessibility. • Willingness to proofread entire college applications, master's and PhD theses, and other Statement of Purposes. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other software tools, including WeChat (Mobile and Desktop).
