Job Title: Commercial Estimator for Division 8 and 10 materials. Location: High Point, NC Job Overview: Estimator Job Type: Permanent, Part-time, or Remote. We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing project plans, assessing project requirements, and preparing accurate cost estimates. The ideal candidate will have experience using estimating software. Responsibilities: • Review project plans and specifications to determine project requirements. • Prepare accurate cost estimates using estimating software. • Analyze project costs and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures. • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate estimates. • Provide support during the bidding process. • Provide accurate take-offs for door frames and hardware. • Participate in project meetings to provide cost estimates and analysis. • Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, and change orders. Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an estimator. • Experience using estimating software (Avaware or similar software). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy. Qualifications: • 3 years of experience in the commercial door industry, specifically in doors, frames, and hardware. • Proven ability to estimate multiple projects. • Strong knowledge of estimating software (Avaware is a plus) or similar. • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Location: Ideally local, but remote candidates with a proven track record of remote work will be considered.
