Job Overview
The Information Association within blithequark's DTC business is looking for a talented professional to join our Pack Trial and Experimentation and Analysis group. This team plays a vital role in supporting the blithequark Pack, which includes popular streaming services. As an Advanced Data Analyst and Insights Expert, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to inform business decisions, drive growth, and optimize our streaming services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to define key business challenges and develop analytical strategies to address them
- Help create a continuous insights pipeline, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to timely and relevant data-driven intelligence
- Perform comprehensive trend analyses, assessing the contributions of various drivers and factors
- Define and analyze audience segments to drive Pack growth and optimization
- Work with other Analysis teams to integrate insights from multiple data sources, creating a cohesive and meaningful story
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on analytical work experience with R/Python/SAS (or another statistical analysis tool) and SQL
- Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and other quantitative methodologies, including linear and logistic regression, significance testing, data preparation for modeling, and clustering techniques
- Experience manipulating large datasets, interpreting data patterns, and using a variety of data sources and tools
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, and others
- Proven analytical skills, with the ability to apply business acumen to data analysis and recommendations
- Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to tell a story with data and to organize findings into meaningful proposals
- Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret market and customer data
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience in the streaming media industry or other subscription-based services
- Experience working with Marketing teams or in the Advertising landscape
