Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

As a Ramp Agent at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of baggage, cargo, and mail. • Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, as well as guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions to ensure timely connections.
• Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
• Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
• Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to customers' destinations.

Our scheduling is based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. You can expect to work between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on your seniority. The starting pay for this position is $21.85 per hour, with regular pay increases occurring over a period of 10.5 years.

Essential Qualifications

• Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
