Job Summary We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Area Manager to join our team. As an Area Manager, you'll lead a team of hourly workforce and be responsible for maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You'll play a key role in ensuring customer expectations are met, and customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location. About the Role As an Area Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include: Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional performance and meet customer expectations. Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure that our operations meet the highest standards. Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives. Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks safely and efficiently. Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts to ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud, and where the temperature and weather conditions may be variable. Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs) to ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. About Our Operations Our Operations workflow has three major components: First mile - where the product is housed and ready for order. Middle mile - where the order is hauled to your area. Last mile - when the product is delivered to the customers' door. Our Operations workflow is designed to ensure that our customers receive their orders at the right time, to the right location.
