We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Girls Basketball Coach, B Squad to join our athletic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive school community, where you will play a crucial role in inspiring and guiding young athletes to reach their full potential. As an Assistant Coach, you will work closely with the basketball coaching staff to oversee all aspects of the Spring Lake Park Girls Basketball B-Squad Program, including setting up practices, supervising athletes, maintaining equipment, arranging team transportation, and collaborating with the booster club and other coaches to achieve the program's goals.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should possess a strong background in high school and/or college basketball, either as a player or coach. A Bachelor's degree and Minnesota teaching license with a coaching certificate are preferred, although equivalent experience and qualifications will be considered. Previous experience working with high school-age students, either as a coach or in a related role, is highly desirable. Additionally, we welcome candidates with a background in dance or other sports, as we believe that diverse experiences can bring valuable insights and perspectives to our team.
