Job Overview
In this primarily home-based role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers, agents, and agency staff. You will respond to inquiries related to auto policies, resolve issues on the first call, and strive to provide the most customer value with minimal effort required from the customer. As a key member of our customer service team, you will participate in required training activities, learn our systems and applications, and develop knowledge of policy processing and related procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to basic inquiries from agents, agency staff, and customers related to policies and accounts, with supervision
- Develop knowledge of systems and applications associated with policy processing
- Attend training and obtain licenses to acquire skills needed to transition to the next level
- Provide input on process improvement ideas for customer and agent support processes
- Follow procedures and continuous process improvement standard work
- Collaborate with team members to achieve customer service goals and objectives
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Demonstrated typing/keyboarding skills (30 wpm)
- Demonstrated experience with various PC software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, Outlook)
- Demonstrated math skills (multiplication, division, addition, subtraction)
- Ability to pass bilingual assessments in reading, understanding, writing, and conversing fluently in both Spanish and English
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:
- Property & Casualty (P&C) License
- Previous experience in the insurance industry or a related field
- Experience working in a home-based or remote environment
