Job Summary
As a Business Analysis Manager, you will play a lead role in supporting our company's General and Administrative (G&A) objectives. You will be responsible for leading process improvements, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and Leadership, to drive business outcomes and achieve our strategic goals. Key Responsibilities
- Support key workstreams directly aligned to executive priorities, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Lead process improvements and implement changes to optimize business processes and drive efficiency
- Coordinate, review, and present spend requests to a panel of Finance leaders, ensuring that all requests are thoroughly vetted and aligned with business objectives
- Develop initiative reporting to explain spend requests and decisions, providing transparency and accountability across the organization
- Explore internal data systems to become an expert in spend baselines and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Lead audits to validate productivity recommendations across the enterprise, ensuring that our business processes are optimized and aligned with industry best practices
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- At least 4 years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, planning, and business planning, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- At least 3 years of experience in process improvement management, with a proven track record of implementing changes that drive business outcomes
- Significant retail or technology industry experience, with a deep understanding of the business and its operations
- Experience contributing to and leading cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience presenting recommendations to decision-makers, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong academic record and a passion for learning
- Certifications in financial planning, analysis, or a related field, such as CFA, CMA, or CPA
- Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify insights and opportunities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
