Job Overview
As a Business Development Manager – Cloud Solutions and AWS Managed Services Expert, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with clients and partners. Your primary focus will be on solutions enabled by the AWS platform, including application migration, managed services, and operations in a cloud environment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our client base in the AWS and cloud services market
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, developing client relationships, and opening new accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with our technical teams to develop and deliver customized solutions that meet clients' needs and exceed their expectations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and identify new business opportunities
- Manage and record pipeline activity via software systems, including Salesforce, to ensure accurate forecasting and sales performance tracking
- Present to client executives and other stakeholders to articulate solutions, negotiate contracts, and close deals
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, knowledge, and experience that align with our business requirements. These include:
- At least three years of business experience in the IT professional services sector, preferably selling solutions, project engagements, and/or managed services
- Strong skills in business development, including prospecting, developing client relationships, and opening new accounts
- Strong familiarity with application development, cloud, and related roles within IT, including AWS
- Experience working across a geography, not simply a local market, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Comfortable managing and recording pipeline activity via software systems, including Salesforce
- Strong client-facing skills, including the ability to interview effectively, uncover needs and wants, articulate solutions, and present to client executives
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates who possess:
- Specific knowledge of AWS and experience with ERP-related services, such as PSFT, Oracle, or SAP
- Experience working with formal sales frameworks, such as Sandler, Challenger, or Solution Selling
- Familiarity with ATS systems, including Ceipal
- A strong professional network and the ability to leverage relationships to drive business growth

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
