About the Role The Business Planning and Pricing Team is a critical component of Google Cloud's success, driving business growth and innovation through strategic planning and execution. As a Business Planning Principal, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and revenue. Key Responsibilities: Streamline Existing Support Specific Terms (SST) : Identify non-standard product use rights and investigate the business rationale for supporting non-standard terms. Drive Innovation in AI Product Terms : Co-create, review, and evaluate proposed product use rights/limitations for AI products across product and corporate teams. Ongoing Review of New Product Use Freedoms : Provide ongoing review of new product use freedoms in SST, including additions, modifications, or deletions. Drive Standardization of Product Use Terms : Participate in the Business Planning Executive Cycle to review justification of non-standard terms and drive normalization of product use terms during the launch process. Review and Extend Business Terms Normalization : Review and extend business terms normalization to incorporate other legal/non-legal template language and support broader business term deal accelerations. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: MBA or Graduate Degree : In an administration, logical, specialized, or design field, or identical viable experience. 4+ Years of Experience : In business planning, strategy consulting, sales strategy, or a comparable field. 4+ Years of Experience : In the cloud/IT business space. Excellent Communication Skills : Both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications To stand out in this role, you will ideally have: Knowledge of Cloud/IT Infrastructure Technology : A strong understanding of cloud/IT infrastructure technology and its applications. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Ability to work cross-functionally across executive stakeholders in product, finance, and go-to-market/sales organizations. Product/Sales Collaboration : Ability to work with product/sales organizations on initiatives related to technology business origination and commercialization.
