We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team. As a COO, you will be responsible for leading the overall domestic and international business operations and strategies, ensuring the alignment of our functional resources with our essential vision, mission, and values. Job Summary The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strategic functional oversight and financial management of complex non-profit organizations, combined with a passion for Korn Ferry's vision. As a COO, you will be a trusted partner and guide, working closely with the CEO and functional leaders to drive business growth, improve operations, and increase efficiency. You will be responsible for overseeing corporate budgets, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Directs the organization's overall domestic and international business operations and strategies, including resource management, employee benefits, business insurance, senior leadership team performance, treasury, financial management, legal, risk management, finance, and technology initiatives. Develops and recommends business initiatives that improve operations, generate revenue, or control costs, positioning the organization for growth and sustainability. Manages corporate budgets and other organizational resources using approved financial guidelines, accepted practices, policies, and procedures; develops long-range financial plans that align with the organization's strategic needs. Plans and executes strategies, plans, and methods; delegates colleagues to special tasks. Collaborates and contributes to policy development that promotes organizational culture and vision. Participates and monitors ongoing improvement efforts to increase efficiencies, quality control, and reduce costs. Evaluates key results by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics; performs predictions, projections, and forecasting models. Creates, reviews, edits, and revises various reports. Collaborates with the CEO to develop the organization's vision and strategic focus. Serves as a staff contact for the Board's Executive Committee and the Finance and Audit Committee. Stays up-to-date with professional and industry trends. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field; education may be replaced with 10 years of Chief Operating Officer experience. 5 years of Chief Operating Officer or comparable experience required. Experience in revenue improvement and financial management. Experience with annual external financial audit procedures. Depth of experience in managing teams, supporting cross-functional collaboration, promoting change management, developing staff, and setting clear objectives. 5 years of public speaking experience. Preferred Qualifications BS/BA in Business Administration or a relevant field; MS/MBA is a plus. Experience in software, research, or policy/marketing. Experience in domestic and international business operations management techniques. Experience in non-profit financial management. Experience in Association Management Software Systems.
