About the Role As a Dedicated Home Daily Local CDL Driver, you will be responsible for delivering dry and refrigerated groceries to Meijer stores in OH, KY, and IN. This is a local job that requires you to work nights and weekends, with a typical 5-day workweek and 2 days off. You will be driving both reefer and dry freight trailers, with a focus on refrigerated trailers. The role is a NO TOUCH job, meaning you will not be required to handle the cargo. Key Responsibilities Deliver dry and refrigerated groceries to Meijer stores in OH, KY, and IN Operate both reefer and dry freight trailers, with a focus on refrigerated trailers Work nights and weekends, with a typical 5-day workweek and 2 days off Drive multiple routes per day, with a 10-hour break on the road on more than one occasion per week Maintain a clean and safe driving record, adhering to company and regulatory standards Participate in a slip seat operation, utilizing both day cabs and sleepers Log roughly 1500-2200 miles per week, with 300-500 miles per day Requirements and Qualifications To be eligible for this role, you must have: A Class A CDL with at least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, with trailers over 40 feet in length A fairly clean MVR, with no major infractions A maximum of 6 jobs in the last 3 years, demonstrating stability and commitment Hazmat endorsement is required, although we will consider drivers without it who are willing to obtain it within 90 days We are looking for experienced drivers who can demonstrate a strong track record of safety, reliability, and professionalism.
