**Customer Experience**
* Engage with customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
* Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
* Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
* Utilize interpersonal habits and Walgreen service traits to provide exceptional customer service, including:
+ Offering help proactively
+ Identifying needs
+ Servicing until satisfied
**Operations**
* Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service
* Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested
* Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records
* Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader
* Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including:
+ Utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information
+ Ensuring information is entered correctly
+ Filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
+ Verifying medicine is correct
+ Checking for possible interactions
+ Reporting prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhering to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program
**Pharmacy Support**
* Assist and support Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as:
+ Ordering
+ Unpacking
+ Checking and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals
* Maintain knowledge of Company asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs
* Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products)
**Visual Merchandising**
* Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
* Assist with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
* Restock outs using the first in, first out method
**Photo Services**
* Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine
* Suggestively sell promotional photo products
**Web Pick-up**
* Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including:
+ Monitoring orders in Picture Care Plus
+ Filling orders (pick items)
+ Delivering orders to customers as they arrive at store
**Training & Personal Development**
* Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration
* Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate and acquire continuing education credits
* Maintain knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest news and developments

**Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification a plus
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
