Experienced CPA Needed For Airbnb Business! – Vacancy Global

Job Description JOB OVERVIEW: -My long-term family friend CPA is retiring and I m now seeking a new CPA to partner with! I need someone to assist me with tax filings and to stay in compliance with all laws, regulations, taxes, etc. I m seeking another long-term partnership where we can work together closely over the coming years… ABOUT MY BUSINESSES/CURRENT STATUS: -I operate one of the largest Airbnb YouTube channels in the world where I tour unique Airbnbs (tiny homes, A-Frames, container homes, treehouses, etc.). -I run a marketing agency that supports unique Airbnbs which is now my largest income source. We specialize in social media management, content creation, and influencer marketing. -In addition to the above 2 businesses, I also do some consulting, I just launched my first ever Airbnb (located in Mexico City) and I’m in the process of starting an education/digital product business later this year. I m busy! YouTube channel: Marketing agency: My Airbnb: ADDITIONAL NOTES: -I m up to date and current on all recent tax returns and filings. -I currently have a bookkeeper that I hired earlier this year to track business operations more closely. -I clearly separate business and personal expenses and have different bank accounts and credit cards. -My new Airbnb is in Mexico City which makes it an international property. I have a local financial team already set up in Mexico to ensure I m in compliance with all local Mexican laws, taxes, and filings. Guest reservations are made in the local currency of Mexican Pesos, and then after all withholdings I receive a payout to my American bank account in US dollars. The Airbnb is my primary residence and will be just a part-time Airbnb when I travel for 3-4 months of the year. The income will be moderate, likely $15-$30k USD per year in Airbnb income. BUDGET: -When applying, please share how you typically structure compensation. Do you prefer an hourly rate, a fixed amount, or a retainer? WHAT I M LOOKING FOR/CRITERIA: -Must be based in the United States with at least 5 years of relevant CPA expertise and tax filing experience. -I m looking to partner with a CPA who specializes in working with entrepreneurs and small businesses. -Not required but any CPA that has some international experience such as dealing with international bank accounts, international real estate transactions, etc. would be great. I don t have an international bank account yet, but I m in the process of obtaining my temporary residency in Mexico. -I d love to partner with a CPA who is an entrepreneur themselves.
