**About the Role**
As a Customer Engineer in arenaflex Distributed Cloud, you'll work closely with our sales and pre-sales teams to deliver cutting-edge cloud solutions to strategic global customers. You'll be the technical expert, leading conversations on the latest cloud offers and driving decisions that align with arenaflex services and delivery team innovation and capabilities. Your expertise will be invaluable in creating and executing new cloud offers, building strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, and driving business growth through innovative solutions.
**Responsibilities**
* Create and execute on new cloud offers, developing the business case, securing alignment from respective teams, addressing budget needs, and securing executive buy-in.
* Serve as a technical advisor and point of contact for strategic customers and accounts with non-standard requests and innovation needs.
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior cross-functional key stakeholders in customer and/or partner organizations to deliver or manage quality technical solutions and services.
* Collaborate with internal or external developers/users/partners/clients/stakeholders to strategize surrounding solution code development.
* Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required, acting as a public advocate for arenaflex Distributed Cloud.
**Minimum Qualifications**
* 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
* 8 years of experience in system design and one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
* 3 years of experience using ML/AI and building solutions.
* Experience with edge computing, distributed systems, or data center transformation.
* Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
* Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently in order to interact with local stakeholders.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
* Experience in data and information management as it relates to big data trends and issues within businesses.
* Experience managing distributed teams on large-scale programs globally.
* Ability to learn quickly, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
