Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Customer Experience Strategic Support Analyst to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Experience Strategic Support Analyst, you will be responsible for using available resources to configure, develop, and execute cost-effective, supply chain solutions to support customer needs and resolve customer experience issues. You will work under broad supervision to analyze customer and service performance data, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategic plans to drive valued-added solutions for both customers and arenaflex.
Key Responsibilities
- Survey and resolve any data accuracy issues, including valuation, country of origin, unit of measure, and classification.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to acquire supporting documents for import clearance and customs compliance.
- Support compromise processes and ensure import activities comply with government regulations and guidelines.
- Define, enable, run, and operate cycles and systems related to customs import controls.
- Maintain processes, controls, record-keeping, and audit readiness regarding import entry.
- Apply quality standards to identify process improvement opportunities, determine available options, execute strategies, and make recommendations to management.
- Some travel may be required.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- At least two years of work experience in external customer issue resolution.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business software applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are considered an asset:
- Coordination of air and sea shipments, including booking, planning, document preparation, and tracking.
- Customs import controls and clearance experience.
- Certified Export Specialist (CES), Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), or Master Product Specialist (MES) designations.
- Customs Broker License (CBL).
- Quality improvement certification or experience, such as QDM, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management.
