Key Responsibilities
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone and chat, providing timely and accurate solutions to their concerns.
- Develop and foster patient relationships on every interaction, building rapport and demonstrating a genuine interest in their well-being.
- Document patient profile information and update medical history as necessary, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle a high volume of calls and chats (average of 40-50 per day), toggling through multiple applications on multiple screens.
- Utilize active listening skills to meet tailored patient needs, providing positive outcomes and resolving customer complaints through independent problem-solving.
- Strive to meet or exceed call center metrics while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and HIPAA regulations, upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and data security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve patient experience, fostering a culture of teamwork and partnership.
Essential Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience, with call center experience preferred.
- A dedicated workspace with no distractions is required for remote work.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Empathetic and understanding, with a patient-centric approach to customer service.
- Ability to type at least 25 wpm and possess strong problem-solving skills.
