About the Role
As an Online Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to our clients and their website visitors. Using our online chat software, you will engage in real-time conversations, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Your primary goal will be to deliver outstanding customer experiences, ensuring that our clients' customers receive the support they need to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
- Evaluate customer interactions and escalate issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary
- Build relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
- Respond to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately
- Promote interest in client products and services
- Consistently achieve established standards of the position
- Continually portray and project a positive and professional image
- Provide administrative support to the customer service team
- Assist with overflow work and other duties as needed
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a positive, professional demeanor. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a larger team, with the ability to navigate through smartphone and computer applications with ease.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work well both independently and within a team-oriented environment
- PC keyboarding and internet experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal
- Upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Articulate and well-suited to a client-facing role
- Ability to compose professional emails
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
- Basic technical skills, including navigation through smartphone and computer applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field
- Familiarity with online chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Experience working in a remote or home-based environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
