Job Summary
As a TSA Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and supporting customers with TSA Precheck enrollment and other services. You'll work in a collaborative and inclusive environment, helping customers realize an easier flying experience and initiating background checks and other services for various federal or state programs. During the 8-10 week onboarding period, you'll also be cross-trained to support other areas of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers with TSA Precheck enrollment and other services
- Greet all customers and provide a professional and welcoming experience
- Engage and present products and solutions that drive sales with customers' needs in mind
- Verify customer identity, scan required documents into database system, take passport photos
- Complete customer fingerprint images, biometric and data capture processes, and paperwork
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot issues with fingerprinting and retail equipment
- Lead government or TSA-related consumer sales for identity-related products and services
- Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned in the store
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- 18 years of age or older and must be a U.S. citizen
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to operate a keyboard, photocopier, and other office equipment
- Customer service-related experience
- Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service
- Knowledge of TSA Precheck or other government programs
- Experience with biometric and data capture processes
