**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Wauwatosa, WI. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and promoting arenaflex's products and services. This is a shared-multiple locations role, which means you will have the opportunity to work with customers and colleagues across multiple locations.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer service to customers in a retail store environment
* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
* Promote arenaflex's products and services to customers, including paint, coatings, and related products
* Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations
* Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on arenaflex's products and services
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction
* Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and product knowledge
* Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service area
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or sales environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with customers and colleagues in a fast-paced environment
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a retail or sales environment, preferably in the paint or coatings industry
* Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services, or a willingness to learn
* Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools
* Certification in customer service or a related field
* Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages
