Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Support Response Specialist with arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Listening carefully to customers and evaluating their situations to provide appropriate solutions
- Handling a range of calls, from simple mapping and navigation issues to emergency situations
- Exhibiting a high degree of caring and empathy on each call, and being able to handle stressful situations in a calming manner
- Multitasking to find answers while on the call with the customer
- Reacting and responding decisively in emergency situations
- Reassuring, controlling, and diffusing emotional and/or difficult calls
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A caring, sympathetic, and helpful demeanor
- Strong customer service skills, including active listening
- Ability to multitask and find answers while on the call with the customer
- Ability to react and respond decisively in emergency situations
- Ability to reassure, control, and diffuse emotional and/or difficult calls
- Prior experience with driver assistance programs is a bonus, but not required
- Fluency in English, with optional fluency in Spanish and/or French Canadian
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous experience in customer support or a related field
- Experience working with driver assistance programs or similar technologies
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating systems

- A broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 MBPS
- A wired internet connection for tech setups, education classes, and work
- A Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
- Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date
- A wired USB headset with microphone (gaming headsets not accepted)
- A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad, and willingness to install an authentication app related to program work
Compensation and Benefits

- A competitive contract rate of $0.28 per customer interaction minute, with a minimum guarantee of 45 minutes per available hour
- Average earnings of $12.60 - $16.80 per hour
- Bilingual contractors can earn a higher contract rate of $0.31 per customer interaction minute, with average earnings of $14.88 - $18.60 per hour
