About the Role
We're on the lookout for a motivated Data Entry Operator to join our growing team! As a Data Entry Operator at blithequark, you'll be responsible for accurately entering information into various proprietary computer systems and partner portals, adhering to project requirements and maintaining a zero percent error rate. This part-time position (20+ hours per week) has the potential to grow into a full-time (30+ hours per week) opportunity, offering you a flexible schedule and the autonomy to decide when and where you work.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter data from various sources into blithequark's database and/or client portals within project time limits, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain an appropriate turnaround time on all data entry tasks, meeting project deadlines and expectations.
- Transcribe information into required electronic formats, reviewing and entering data in the correct format.
- Proactively verify data for accuracy, correcting any discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.
- Comply with security backups and regular information security checkups to safeguard the database.
- Adhere to data integrity and security policies, maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers as needed, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a Data Entry Operator at blithequark, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of data entry experience, with a keystroke rate of 15,000 keystrokes per hour (equivalent to 50 words per minute) error-free.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using Windows (preferred) or a Mac computer.
- The ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Being 18 years or older.
- A reliable high-speed broadband internet connection.
- Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
