Our affiliate, Empire State Radiology (ESR), is one of the leading radiology practices in New York, covering all 5 boroughs and providing radiology services to 4 outpatient imaging centers and 6 hospitals in the Catholic Health system. Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote weekend coverage for Diagnostic Radiology services in the Long Island area
- Interpret imaging studies and provide accurate and timely reports
- Collaborate with other radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality assurance programs to maintain the highest standards of patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiology and maintain relevant certifications and licenses
Flexible Scheduling Options
We understand the importance of work-life balance, and we're committed to offering flexible scheduling options that cater to your needs. You can choose from a range of schedules, including:
- 1 weekend per month
- 1 weekend day shift per month
- Every weekend or every other weekend
- Every Saturday or every Sunday
- Days (8a-5p) and/or evenings (4p-12a)
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an ACGME-accredited training program
- Board eligibility or certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (ABOR)
- A license to practice in the state of New York or the ability to obtain one
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of radiology practices and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Fellowship training in a relevant subspecialty (e.g., IR, Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, Pediatrics, Women's Diagnostic Imaging)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic radiology practice
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
