About the Position
The eCommerce Account Manager for Amazon is a dynamic and analytical role that requires a deep understanding of the Amazon platform and eCommerce channel dynamics. As a strategic partner to our Director of Omnichannel Retail Sales, you'll develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy that aligns with our sales and profit objectives. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including senior management, customers, and vendors, to ensure a cohesive approach to omni-channel strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Profitable Amazon Business: Deliver value through revenue growth, margin sustainment, and market share gains.
- Lead Deployment of Key Growth Levers: Promotional planning and execution, performance metrics, and market trends.
- Align and Implement Sales Goals: Work with key internal and external decision-makers to prioritize sales goals.
- Strategically Negotiate Customer Programs: Drive profitable growth through effective negotiation.
- Optimize Price, Promotion, Advertising, and Supply Chain: Earn strong organic placement on the digital shelf.
- Optimize Operational Execution: Develop new operations and fulfillment capabilities.
- Lead Internal and Customer-Facing Meetings: Drive engagement and accountability on projects.
- Utilize Analytics Tools: Make data-driven decisions to inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with Director, Amazon: Drive a cohesive online strategy for Delta Faucet Company.
- Develop Strong Working Knowledge: Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, DSP, OTT) and full-funnel marketing.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- BS in Business, Marketing, or related field: A solid educational foundation in business or marketing.
- 5+ years of related experience: Proven experience in eCommerce Account Management, preferably with Amazon.
- Experience with a major omnichannel retail customer: Working knowledge of Amazon Vendor, Seller, or Agency side.
- Strong Financial Acumen: Ability to analyze financial data and drive business decisions.
- Self-starter with data analysis skills: Quickly translate data into actionable information.
- Relationship-building and influencing skills: Effectively form relationships and influence at all levels.
- Highly motivated and resourceful: Ability to solve problems and prioritize multiple projects.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment: Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic setting.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in Kitchen products: Familiarity with the industry and product category.
- Familiarity with Amazon Advertising tools: Knowledge of Sponsored Products, DSP, and OTT.
