About the Role As an Elderly Care Provider with TheKey, you will play a vital role in implementing tailored care plans that cater to the unique needs of our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional care and companionship to seniors, assisting them with daily activities, personal care, and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities Implementing tailored care plans that nurture the full person, mind, body, and spirit Providing companionship, housekeeping, personal care, medicine reminders, and transportation to clients Assisting with scheduled activities and overall care management Treating clients like family members, going above and beyond to improve their quality of life Providing personal care chores such as hygiene, mobility, incontinence care, light cleaning, feeding, and meal preparation Providing transportation to and from appointments, as needed Documenting work completion and reporting changes in the client's physical health, mental capability, or behavior Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Ability to pass a background check and provide references Negative TB Test or Chest X-Ray Reliable means of transportation to and from work Basic computer skills and overall technical savviness Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working with seniors, particularly those with Alzheimer's or dementia Previous experience in caregiving or a related field Certifications or training in caregiving, such as CNA or HHA Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Empathy and compassion for seniors and their families Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At TheKey, we are committed to the growth and development of our caregivers.
