Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting, preferably in an emergency department or similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices and procedures, including acute pain management techniques, airway management, and infant care practices.
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical record systems, with the ability to navigate and utilize these systems efficiently.
- Ability to catheterize patients and perform phlebotomy as needed, with a strong foundation in clinical skills and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, patients, and families.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards, including Joint Commission and CMS guidelines.
