**Job Summary**
As an Engineering Team Lead, you'll be responsible for managing a team of engineers and architects, providing day-to-day direction, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You'll work closely with client management to analyze short-range business requirements, recommend innovations, and build positive client relationships. You'll also be responsible for monitoring industry trends, researching new technologies, and implementing change when necessary.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage and participate in consults with client management to analyze short-range business requirements and recommend innovations that anticipate future impact of changing business requirements
* Build and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction
* Monitor industry trends and vendor applications, researching and initiating change when necessary
* Oversee application development, support testing efforts, technology infrastructure/project management, and other technology domains
* Serve as a subject matter expert in assigned area of responsibility, providing guidance and support to team members
* Build rapport within the organization, communicating and developing a professional level of communication and cooperation
* Maintain relationships with vendors and professional organizations, ensuring alignment with arenaflex's goals and objectives
* Control the activities of the teams, assign personnel to various projects, and direct their activities
* Ensure completion of schedules, responsible for short-term staffing planning, and implement technology consistent with arenaflex's standards and long-range plans
* Develop and manage multiple cost center budgets, recommending and initiating new policies and procedures that improve the performance and effectiveness of the Department
* Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management, and terminations
* Understand and adhere to arenaflex's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite
* Design, implement, maintain, and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis
* Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management, promoting an environment that supports diversity and reflects the arenaflex brand
* Maintain arenaflex's internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable
**Scope of Responsibilities**
As an Engineering Team Lead, you'll oversee a team where the majority of employees are engineers and/or architect individual contributors, or Engineering Supervisors. You'll be responsible for providing guidance, support, and direction to team members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
**Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities**
* 5-10 direct reports
* Responsible for providing guidance, support, and direction to team members
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients
* Manage and prioritize team workload, ensuring timely completion of projects and tasks
* Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
* Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and recommend promotions, salary increases, or terminations as necessary
**Education and Experience Required**
* A combined minimum of 9 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years' engineering and/or architecture experience and 3 years' leadership experience
* Extensive experience in Customer Identity and Access Management Digital Transformation
* Experience in Microservices Architecture, Java Spring boot, and Containerization
* Experience in GIT-CI/CD and REST API
* Hand-on knowledge of Security, Monitoring, and Logging preferred
* Policy Authoring Experience preferred but not mandatory

**Compensation and Benefits**
arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $110,635.01 - $184,391.68 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
