Job Overview and Responsibilities
As a Fitness Professional and Certified Flexologist at StretchLab, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional stretching experiences to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and leading guided group stretching classes for up to 6 clients
- Encouraging and motivating clients throughout stretch sessions to help them achieve their goals
- Building and retaining a loyal client base through sales and outreach efforts
- Managing client care by delivering a best-in-class stretching experience, updating client notes consistently, and booking client's weekly recurring appointments
- Ensuring the safety of clients by enforcing proper stretch techniques and adhering to StretchLab policies and safety rules
- Attending staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and industry developments
- Handling member concerns and providing exceptional customer service
- Assisting Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed
- Maintaining a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention
- Cleaning and maintaining all equipment to ensure it is available for client use at any given time
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:
- A passion for boutique fitness environments and a love of stretching, mobility, and flexibility
- Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Pilates or Yoga Instructor
- Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provided hands-on training with clients
- Fitness certification required (we offer a comprehensive training program for our Flexologists)
- Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people and makes them feel at ease
- Fantastic communication skills and empathy to connect with clients and understand their needs
- A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies
- Availability to complete our 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training
