The Role: Forklift Operator We're seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team on 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm). As a Forklift Operator at Lineage Logistics, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cold storage facilities. With a competitive hourly rate of $20-$22, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss. Key Responsibilities Operate stand-up reach forklifts with slip sheet conversion to move products, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently. Put away palletized units into rack locations above floor height and pick units out for outbound shipments. Utilize Radio Frequency (RF) systems to track materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items. Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices. Complete daily forklift maintenance and check sheets to ensure equipment is in good working order. Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and properly store material handling equipment at charging stations. Work collaboratively with other machinery and material handling equipment operators. What We Look For To succeed as a Forklift Operator at Lineage Logistics, you'll need: Basic math skills and the ability to understand instructions in English. The ability to work in extreme temperatures (-20°F to 100°F) while wearing personal protective equipment. A minimum lifting capacity of 40 lbs (18 kgs), with the potential for heavier lifting depending on the facility. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required. Comfort with varying noise levels, which can be loud at times. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Previous experience operating stand-up reach forklifts or similar equipment.
