**Job Summary**
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web and cloud-based applications. You'll work closely with our Data and Analytics team to provide vital insights and support our business operations. This is a remote position, and you'll have the flexibility to work from home while being part of a dynamic and collaborative team.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Assist with the implementation and maintenance of our internal Data and Analytics reporting processes
* Research and stay up-to-date with evolving data requirements, ensuring necessary system and process adjustments are made to meet these needs
* Identify potential process enhancements and propose implementation strategies
* Develop and present data-related topics, including reporting and analytics
* Analyze the need for new systems or upgrades to existing software to meet business needs and make recommendations
* Recommend solutions that adhere to company standards, considering the impact on upstream and downstream systems and stakeholders
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and user acceptance testing
* Work on various data-related tasks as assigned
**Requirements**
* 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or equivalent experience
* Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling
* Strong experience with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, and Vertica. NoSQL databases experience is a plus
* Experience with user-defined workflows (e.g., Airflow)
* Experience with writing Kafka clients and producers
* Experience with Apache Spark Streaming and Hive is a plus
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach problems in new and innovative ways
* Working knowledge of data management software like Airflow or other ETL tools
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective solutions
