Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate records.
- Process prescriptions, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets, and verifying medication accuracy.
- Interact with customers and patients, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy operations, including inventory management, stock ordering, and cash handling.
- Assist with the administration of medical services, including the collection and labeling of blood/urine samples, and the coordination of clinical services.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality, medication safety, and pharmacy operations.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTC) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a retail or pharmacy setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in pharmacy software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with Walgreens or a similar pharmacy chain.
