Job Overview
This role will focus on Windows OS administration and automation development for Jenkins Pipeline and Ansible Playbooks. You will be responsible for supporting and developing automation solutions for Windows OS provisioning, leveraging your expertise in Windows Server administration, PowerShell, and GitHub. Key Responsibilities
- Windows OS Administration: Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Automation Development: Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Jenkins Pipeline and Ansible Playbooks for Windows OS provisioning.
- Scripting and Development: Write scripts using Open Source technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell to automate tasks and processes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and communicate technical plans and progress.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex systems engineering issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience: System engineering with Windows Server administration, including experience with Windows OS provisioning and configuration.
- PowerShell and GitHub: Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting and GitHub, with experience using public cloud automation tools such as Azure or GCP.
- Scripting and Development: 4+ years of experience writing scripts with Open Source technologies, including Ansible and Terraform.
- Automation Experience: Proven track record of supporting automation solutions for Jenkins Pipeline and Ansible Playbooks for Windows OS provisioning.
- GitHub or Work Samples: Ability to provide examples of script development via GitHub or work samples.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ansible and Terraform: Experience with Ansible and Terraform, and other Open Source automation tools.
- Cloud Experience: Experience working with public cloud providers such as Azure or GCP.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
