Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team on a full-time basis. As a hybrid position, this role can be based in Los Gatos or Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive process improvements. You'll be responsible for owning the month-end close cycle, driving process upgrades, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Own the month-end close cycle, including review of prepaid, accrual, and business ledgers to ensure financial statement accuracy under US GAAP. Drive process upgrades and automate manual work processes to achieve efficiency. Prepare smart close packages that summarize key business and accounting trends for management review. Represent Corporate Accounting in cross-functional interactions with SP&A, Financial Applications, Travel and Expense, Money Acquisition Operations, Tax, and regional accounting partners. Assist teams in gathering required expectations for local reporting and compliance purposes. Perform functional obligations, including recording or diary entries, preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, budget versus actual review, and trend analysis. Requirements and Qualifications: 4+ years of relevant accounting experience. Understanding of US GAAP; CPA or equivalent designation preferred. Ability to manage multiple competing needs and meet tight deadlines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven experience implementing work process upgrades. Flexibility in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to solve problems independently and exercise judgment when solutions are unclear. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
